NUTRAfoods - Harnessing Nutraceuticals Through Science

While other journals have focused on technical and marketing aspects of nutraceuticals, our main aim will be to publish scientific articles on them.
Nutraceutical researchers need a scientific journal specifically devoted to support the growth of the field, now the fastest growing area of healthfood products.

NUTRAfoods publishes high quality peer-reviewed articles penned by leading experts around the world bringing you the latest findings in the field of nutraceuticals, such as dietary supplements, botanicals, functional foods, novel foods, etc.

The journal welcomes papers in the nutrafood sciences. A strong emphasis is given to pre-clinical, clinical and epidemiological studies in the perspective of evidence-based medicine or scientific evidence through careful objective observations. We support the recent WHO strategy on Traditional or Complementary/Alternative Medicine which aims to provide a stronger evidence base on safety, efficacy and quality.

Nutraceuticals growth is closely followed by Health Authorities around the world and regulations and regulation proposals dealing with nutraceuticals have been issued, especially in the United States, the European Union and Japan. Therefore another aim of our journal will be to follow these matters so that our readers can be informed on the developments in legislation and particularly in research trends related to new regulatory demands or requests.

To establish a successful journal we are ready to provide the maximum effort on our part, but most of all we need the full collaboration of nutrafood researchers.
